Abstract

The current study was conducted to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of Aqueous and alcoholic extracts (hot) of Borago officinallis leaves against types of bacteria that include Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermides and Streptococcus payogene, the results showed inhibitory effect of both extracts against bacteria. A photochemical screening of both extracts was revealed the presence of (Tannins, Alkaloids, Risine , Saponin , Phenols , Flavonoides  and Glycosides). Sensitivity test of isolates to antibiotics was studied and most of them were resistance to Ceftazidim, Chloramphinicol, Cefotaxime, Amoxicillin and Ampicillin. Most of isolates were sensitive to Amoxicillin /Clavulanic acid and Penicillin (G). All the isolates showed high sensitivity to Norfloxacin and Gentamicine 100%. The results show Synergism effect when Combination of Ceftazidime and Amoxicillin with hot (aqueous and alcoholic) extracts of Borago officinalis on the different type of bacteria.

الخلاصة

تم تقييم الفعالية التثبيطية للمستخلص المائي والكحولي (الساخن) لاوراق نبات لسان الثور Borago officinalis  تجاه انواع من البكتريا الموجبة لصبغة كرام والمتضمنة العزلات Staphylococcus aureus  Staphylococcus epidermides , Streptococcus pyogenes  واظهرت النتائج فعالية ضد مايكروبية  لكلا المستخلصين على انواع البكتريا قيد الدراسة. وقد تم الكشف عن بعض المركبات الفعالة في اوراق نبات لسان الثور Borago officinalis  وقد وجد احتواء هذه الاوراق على (التانينات ، القلويدات ، الراتنجات ، الصابونيات ، الفينولات ، الفلافونيدات والكلايكوسيدات).كذلك تم دراسة حساسية هذه العزلات لبعض المضادات الحيوية وكان اغلبها مقاومة لمضادات السفتازيديم والكلورامفينيكول والامبسلين والاموكسسلين والسيفوتاكسيم في حين كانت العزلات حساسة لمضادات الاموكسيسيلين /حامض كلافيولونك والبنسيلين (G) ، وقد اظهرت جميع العزلات حساسية لمضادات النورفلاكسين والجنتامايسين بنسبه 100 % . اظهرت النتائج فعالية تازريا عند خلط مضاد   Ceftazidime  و Amoxicillin  مع كل من المستخلص المائي والكحولي (الساخن) لاوراق نبات لسان الثور Borago officinalis  على انواع من البكتريا المختلفة قيد الدراسة.
